(aeroporti, autostrade, gas, servizi idrici integrati, TLC, energie
rinnovabili, waste to energy).
“in questi giorni arrivano i primi dati concreti”. Ulteriori 100 milioni circa
prevalentemente del settore waste to energy,
Foreign investors for F2i Second Fund
Today
09.27.2013, Il Sole 24 Ore publishes an article signed by Cheo Condina entitled
“F2i, nel secondo fondo entrano
investitori stranieri” [F2i, foreign investors enter the second fund], which
mades reference to the likely entry of foreign shareholders in F2i Second Fund.
As is known, F2i Second Fund was established in july 2012 by F2i’s Board of
Directors. F2i is a IMCO (Investment Management Company) managed by CEO Vito
Gamberale and President Giuliano Asperti. The need for a Second Fund emerged
after the First Fund had already invested more than 1.650 million (of its 1.850
availability) in 8 Companies in key national infrastructure sectors (airports,
motor ways, gas, water services, TLC, renevable energy, waste to energy).
The article
published by Il Sole 24 Ore reports that “F2i’s management, in the last months,
has been working for the closing of F2i Second Fund fund raising, which amounts
to a total of 1.2 billions of euros”. The newspaper also added that “in these
days the first tangible results are emerging”. According to Radiocor – the news agency controlled by
Il Sole 24 Ore - further around 100 millions should be come from 6 new Italian
Agenti Spedizionieri e Corrieri).
The closing for the current fund raising,
according to Il Sole 24 Ore, should happen in the first half of 2014. With
regard to this aspect, the economic newspaper doesn’t keep out the possible shareholding of foreign
investors, “in particular of sovereign funds from the far east”. The newspaper
also states that F2i Second Fund “should mainly deal with the waste to energy
sector, with airports and motor ways”.
